Example: Configuration: Dry oxygen content

In most cases, the dry oxygen content has to be calculated from the wet oxygen content as direct measured values are rarely available.

The following configuration example has two fuels:

  • Light oil (F1)

  • Natural gas (F2)

The O2 content is transfered using the analog channel:

Configuration

  1. Configure the fuel constants for both fuels.

Fuel [1 - 3]: Stoichiometric wet exhaust gas amount

  2. For each fuel, create a function block of type:

    [29] Theoretical O2, dry content

  3. The first function block is for light oil (F1). You must set up the following configuration:

    Stoichiometric constants to 1.

[O2,dry]: Dry oxygen content to 5.

This channel must be activated, configured as output and written to an HMI address.

  4. The second function block is for natural gas (F2). You must set up the following configuration:

    Stoichiometric constants to 2.

[O2,dry]: Dry oxygen content to 6.

This channel must be activated, configured as output and written to an HMI address.

  5. <link linkend="DOC-739807768">DOC-739807768</link> is now automatically written with the current dry oxygen content.

This channel must be activated, configured as output and written to an HMI address.
