[29] Theoretical O2, dry content

Function blocks

Description

Calculation of theoretical dry O2 content in flue gas based on wet O2 content in flue gas and stoichiometric fuel constants.

If this function block is not enabled or if the selected fuel is not used in single operation, the calculation is not made. In this case, the wet O2 content is written to the output instead.

Function block inputs

[fn] Stoichiometric constants

This parameter specifies where the function block obtains the stoichiometric constants which are required for the calculation.

If a fuel is specified as source, the values from the standard configuration are used.

The function block performs the calculation if the selected fuel is used in single operation.

0 Individual values
1 Fuel 1
2 Fuel 2
3 Fuel 3
[O2,w] Wet oxygen content [Vol.-%]

Analog channel

[A,w] Stoichiometric moist exhaust gas amount [m³/m³ (at STP)] / [m³/kg (at STP)]

Fixed value

Fuel Constant
Light oil 11.8
Heavy fuel oil 11.4
Natural gas L 9.36

Function block outputs

[O2,dry] Dry oxygen content [Vol.-%]

O2,dry = O2,w / (1 - ((A,w - A,t) / ((O2,w / (21 - O2,w)) x A,w + A,w )))
