Load setpoint Overshoot

Parameter

Description

Defines the load setpoint by which the compound control system should overshoot the load setpoint in the case of a load increase.

The "Overshoot" function compensates for mechanical tolerances of the compound control system. For this purpose, the compound control system always approaches the load setpoint from a larger load position (from above). In the case of a load increase, the load position is increased by the overshoot, in the case of a load decrease, the load position is approached directly.

Example

  1. The overshoot for the load setpoint is set to 30 digit.

  2. The compound is to increase the load position from 600 digit to 660 digit.

  3. The compound control system first travels to the load position plus overshoot (y = 660 digit + 30 digit).

  4. As soon as all the channels have reached the load position plus overshoot, the setpoint is reduced by the overshoot and the compound control system is run to the requested load position.

  1. The overshoot for the load setpoint is set to 30 digit.

  2. The compound is to decrease the load position from 660 digit to 600 digit.

  3. The compound control system directly approaches the requested load position.
