Special functions are available in seavis for waste incineration plants (referred to below as "WIP"):
Configuring the plant as a WIP
Type of plant
The operation modes are automatically configured for start-up and support mode.
Start-up and support mode
Different fuel-air ratios can be configured in seavis for start-up and support mode.
-
Start-up mode
In start-up operation mode, the combustion chamber is heated up for the combustion of garbage.
-
Support mode
If the temperature in the combustion chamber is insufficient for complete combustion of the garbage, then the system switches to support mode in order to maintain the required minimum temperature.
Switching between start-up and support mode
Operation mode switching between start-up and support modes is performed by using the "waste incineration plant support mode" input, which must be contained in the FSC input configuration.
Operation modes
Separate operation modes are required respectively for start-up and support mode. These operation modes are permanently assigned in pairs. As a result, the number of operation modes for operation of a WIP is reduced to operation modes WIP-1 through WIP-4.
Example
Operation mode MVA-1 (Oil): |
Oil start-up operation mode |
Oil support mode |
|
(= Operation mode 1) |
(= Operation mode 2) |
|
Operation mode MVA-2 (Gas): |
Gas start-up operation mode |
Gas support mode |
|
(= Operation mode 3) |
(= Operation mode 4) |
|
Operation mode MVA-3 (X): |
X start-up operation mode |
X support mode |
|
(= Operation mode 5) |
(= Operation mode 6) |
|
Operation mode MVA-4 (Y): |
Y start-up operation mode |
Y support mode |
|
(= Operation mode 7) |
(= Operation mode 8) |
|
You have to assign the fuels and compound channels in pairs for start-up and support mode:
Example
Operation mode MVA-1 (Oil):
Operation mode MVA-2 (Gas):
Purge suppression
As a rule, air is delivered to the combustion chamber in a WIP via the WIP control and communication system/WIP control system and not via the burner integrated in the plant.
If purging nevertheless has to take place via the burner, then this has to be parameterized:
