If one burner fails, emergency operation of the DFT system ensures that the other burner continues firing with the single operation restrictions.

Only parallel operation

Emergency operation only functions as long as the Ethernet connection to the HMIs is not faulty.

Parallel and single operation

Emergency operation switches the burner that is still firing to single operation. Parallel operation must be selected again so that the other burner can resume operation.
