You can configure up to 20 free alarms for analog signals, which are triggered if the signals rise above or fall below certain limit values. These alarm messages are shown in the message line and can also be saved in the message archive if necessary.
It is possible to configure whether the respective alarm is triggered if a value is exceeded or not reached. Apart from this, a distinction is made between a fixed value comparison and an analog channel comparison. In the former case, an alarm is triggered if a defined limit is reached. In the latter case, the difference between two analog channels is monitored.
The alarming can be switched off in such a way that only the function of a limit value switch can be met.
