The heated oil distributor is a component of rotary cup atomizer burners, which burn highly viscous fuels. The heater in the oil distributor performs the following function in this process:
If the burner is switched off, a residual amount of fuel is left in the burner fuel line. The heavy oil left in the fuel line cools down and is deposited in it.
If the burner and therefore purging are preselected, the oil distributor heater is automatically activated to heat up the cooled fuel residues in the fuel line and to reduce their viscosity again.
The heater is activated when the burner is preselected and remains active until the ignition process is complete or the burner is deselected during purging.
