For a firing process with CO control, seavis provides an interface for a CO measurement and control system. The communication interface is implemented using analog and digital input and output contacts.
The seavis control system performs the control, load control and monitoring functions for the firing process. To do so, the load controller setting value from the seavis control system is sent to the CO measurement and control system as a 4-20 mA signal. This system holds the setting value for the electronic compound at a constant value during CO/O2 optimization. A 4-20 mA correction signal is generated by the CO measurement and control system on the basis of the measured CO/O2 content and acts on the air duct of the electronic compound control system. The free seavis correction input is used for this purpose.
Following a CO/O2 content measurement, the load controller setting value from seavis is passed to the compound control system in order to run to the required firing rate.
