The burner is switched on with the appropriate ignition sequence, depending on the fuel, burner type and parameterization. The ignition sequences differentiate between gaseous and liquid fuels.

Safety interlock circuits for fuel 1 and fuel 2:
If safety interlock circuit for fuel 1 / fuel 2 must close within 90 s after successful purging (run to the ignition position).
The ignition sequence for fuel 1 / fuel 2 is initiated when the safety interlock circuit is closed. The safety interlock circuit is monitored continuously as soon as the ignition sequence is active or the burner is firing with fuel 1 or fuel 2.
The valve test for gaseous fuels is only performed if the safety interlock circuit for fuel 1, 2, 3 is closed prior to or during the valve test.
