Number of ignition attempts

The number of ignition attempts can be set separately for ignition of fuels 1 and 2. The ignition attempts may only be performed during the ignition standby time. The furnace is purged again after the last failed ignition attempt or at the end of the ignition standby time.

If the internal valve test is active in gas firing operation mode and was started during ignition of one of the main gas valves, then the valve test for the respective main gas valves is performed again before the next ignition attempt. The valve test is not performed if the next ignition attempt is performed within the set validity time.

Note

Ignition attempts may only be activated if the applicable standards and regulations permit this.
